I am Gunvor Guttorm, born in Karasjok on the Norvegian side of Sápmi, and now I live in Jokkmokk which is in the Swedish side of Sápmi.
I am a researcher in sami traditional art and applied art. I have also taught both at undergraduate and graduate courses on traditional Sami art, crafts and applied art at University College level, both in practical and theory. You can read more about my professional background in my CV. I completed my PhD in duodji (sami traditional art and applied art) at the University of Tromsø in 2003.
GG Duodjikonsult is a one woman firm, which can offer lecturers about sami traditional art and applied art, put up exhibits, make research.

7-11. of December I participated on Indigenous Education Conference in Melbourne, Australia. My presentation on the coference was called: Duodji- a new step for the artistic production.
